SUBSTANCE: nasal introduction device comprises a body, a nose portion for insertion into the nasal cavity of the subject, a mouthpiece through which the subject exhales, and a substance supply unit that includes a trigger that protrudes from one end of the body and is manually actuated to introduce the substance into the nasal cavity of the subject. The body includes a gripping portion located at one end of the body from which the trigger protrudes. The gripping portion comprises the first distal portion including at least one protruding gripping member to hold the body when the trigger of the substance supply unit is actuated and the second proximal portion providing a recess where the fingers of the subject are located. The said recess facilitates the correct orientation of the introduction device in the subject's hand.
