FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for cultivation of bifidobacteria involves the introduction of bifidobacteria into a nutrient medium containing a pea hydrolysate with amine nitrogen content of 160-180 mg, a decoction of leaves and stems of alfalfa, corn extract, D(-)lactose, sodium phosphate monobasic, iron sulfate heptahydrate, cysteine and clarified curd serum in a predetermined ratio of components and growing the biomass bifidobacteria for 24 hours.
EFFECT: invention prolongs shelf life and enables to obtain bifidobacteria biomass of high quality, with a higher growth rate and increased viability.
