FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing the temporal region of the patient's head with an implant inserted between the X-ray source and the X-ray image receiver. As an X-ray source, an X-ray tube with a massive target taken at the end of a long anode tube from a vacuum tank of the X-ray tube or an anode tube with an end target is used. In this case, the anode tube with a massive target is injected into the oral cavity of the patient on the implant side at an angle of about 45° to the sagittal plane of the head. The anode tube with an end target is inserted into the oral cavity of the patient on the opposite side of the head relative to the implant at an angle of about 45° to the sagittal plane. The X-ray image receiver is located close to the temporal region of the head in which the implant is placed.
EFFECT: method provides a good detailed visualization of the structures of the inner ear with the lowest radiation load on the patient and personnel.
