FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for producing methyl 3-[3-((cyclohexylcarbonyl){[4'-(dimethylamino)biphenyl-4-yl]methyl}amino)phenyl]acrylate(phexaramine), that is an agonist of the farnesoid X-receptor (FXR). The method is carried out by the liquid-phase method by the reaction of methyl 3-(3-aminophenyl)acrylate with 4'-(dimethylamino)biphenyl-4-carbaldehyde and the subsequent acylation of the obtained methyl 3-[3-({[4'-(dimethylamino)biphenyl-4-yl]methyl}amino) phenyl]acrylate with cyclohexanecarbonitrile.
EFFECT: method allows you to simplify the process, to reduce its cost and to produce the target product with a high purity.
