FIELD: wood-working industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wood-working industry. Installation for obtaining hot and cold air in a wood drying chamber comprises an axial fan with a shell and driven by an electric motor, an impeller with blades and a hub, a system of vortex tubes placed on the outer surface of the shell and joined by collectors of cold and hot air. Impeller is made with a hub having an annular central recess and blades mounted on the hub and having internal cavities in the form of a channel connecting the apex of the blade, in the end of which an opening is radially located, with the root part of the blade connected by the opening with the annular central recess of the hub, wherein the opening in the apical tip has a conical shape with a decreasing diameter at the outlet.

EFFECT: invention should improve the efficiency of the installation for obtaining hot and cold air for a wood drying chamber.
