FIELD: transport machinery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Wheel-mounted thruster of the hovercraft contains a rowing element in the form of a cylinder of porous material, mounted on a hub. Hub is driven by a motor and mounted to be moved by means of levers on the hull of the vessel. Rotating cylinder is made in the form of a strip brush, which consists of alternating radially oriented strips of moisture-resistant polymeric material. In one of the strips, the first and third portions have a small height relative to the hub surface, and the second part of which has a greater height relative to the hub surface, in adjacent of which the first and third parts have a greater height relative to the hub surface, and the second part of which has a small height relative to the hub surface.
EFFECT: increase of the wheel efficiency thruster is achieved.
