SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the screw propulsion unit. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Peripheral part of the rotor consists of a package of elastic two-arm sectoral plates with a crest, made with a central hole for mounting on the shaft. Elastic two-arm sector-shaped plates overlap with angular displacement relative to each other to form a multi-threaded helical crest.
EFFECT: extension of the screw propulsion unit functionality is achieved.
