SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building and can be used as wheelchair propulsor for overcoming stair flights of common use. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Rotor with multiturn screw crest is made in form of rotating axis, brush hub attached to rotary axis, and brush bristle fixed in lengthwise grooves of brush outer surface outer circumferential surface. Brush bristles consist of multiple folded in half resilient sheets, repeating by peripheral part contours of screw flanges of rotor.

EFFECT: it is possible to expand the functionality of the screw propulsion when moving on hard surfaces.
