FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, in particular to off-road vehicles. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Rotors with helical flanges are made as a system of inclined wheels with V-like orientation to each other of wheels of opposite sides of propulsor. In each of wheel sides pulley with toothed track on half-axle of one wheel is connected by toothed belt with pulley to toothed path of semi-axle of adjoining wheel.
EFFECT: it is possible to expand the functionality of the screw propulsion in wheelchairs for movement on hard surfaces with obstacles.
