FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering and can be used as a propulsor in wheelchairs to overcome staircases of common use. Screw propeller contains a cylindrical rotor with a screw crest. Screw crest is made multiple-threaded. Semicircular groove-lodgement for an elastic spring is made between the crests, protruding above the cylindrical rotor larger than the screw crests.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities of screw propeller when moving on hard surfaces is achieved, as well as overcoming staircases of common use.
