FIELD: processing and recycling of waste.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to methods for processing dump metallurgical slags, and can be used to extract magnetic, weakly magnetic and non-magnetic components from them. Method includes crushing the scrap metallurgical slag, recovering the coarse scrap, crushing the slag to a size of less than 5 mm, magnetic separation using successive separators, working on permanent magnets, and then by means of sequentially arranged separators working on electromagnets for pre-sampling of pre-separated metal slag and/or metal alloys and/or metal oxides and their sorting by composition. After performing the magnetic separation with a permanent magnet separator, the non-magnetic portion of the slag for pre-assembling metals and/or metal alloys and/or metal oxides is subjected to separation into layers of particles of equal density. Recovered metal-containing products are used as a raw material for agglomeration production.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the degree of metal recovery while simultaneously increasing the utilization utilization of the non-metallic slag phase.
