SUBSTANCE: beverage preparation system comprising a capsule (1) comprising a sidewall (2), a water inlet wall (3) and an outlet wall (4) forming a hollow closed housing (5) containing a boiling product. The water inlet wall (3) comprises at least one piercing area (6) adapted to be pierced by piercing means (40) of a boiling device to form one or more water inlet holes (6a) in the capsule wall (3) for water inlet under pressure into the hollow housing (5) of the capsule during the boiling cycle. The water inlet wall (3) comprises at least one reinforced area (7) different from at least one piercing area (6) of the water inlet wall (3); and a boiling device comprising piercing means (40) for piercing at least one piercing area (6) of the water inlet capsule (3) to form one or more water inlet holes (6a) in the water inlet wall (3) of the capsule. The boiling device also comprises water injection means configured to inject water under pressure into the hollow housing (5) of the capsule through one or more water inlet holes (6a), characterized in that at least one piercing area (6) of the water inlet wall (3) comprising at least one water inlet hole (6a) is made with the possibility of at least partial plastic deformation into the hollow housing of the capsule under the action of pressure applied thereto by water injected by the water injection means of the boiling device during the beverage preparation cycle, after the piercing area is pierced by the piercing means of the boiling device. At least part of the transferred deformation is stored in the piercing area (6) at the end of the mentioned boiling cycle.
EFFECT: improvement of the beverage taste.
