SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a capsule for preparing double espresso, double ristretto, or double lungo, to a system containing a first capsule and a second capsule, to a system containing an apparatus for brewing coffee and the capsule, to an application of the system containing a first capsule and a second capsule, to an application of the system containing the apparatus for brewing coffee and the capsule, as well as to a method for preparing double espresso, double ristretto, or double lungo. Capsule for preparing double espresso, double ristretto, or double lungo includes a capsule body made in the form of a truncated cone. The capsule body comprises a peripheral side wall located around the central axis of a bowl-shaped body, a lower wall connected with the first end of the side wall to cover the first end of the capsule body, and a flange extending radially outward from the second end of the peripheral side wall. The capsule additionally includes a lid made of foil and connected with the flange, a coffee layer from ground coffee, placed in the internal space limited by the capsule body and the lid. The coffee layer has a maximum diameter of the coffee layer, corresponding to the inner diameter of the bowl-shaped body by the second end of the peripheral wall. The internal space has a height defined by the maximum distance between the lower part and the plane wherein the second end of the peripheral side wall extends. The weight of the coffee layer is in the range from 9 to 13 g, wherein the height/maximum diameter of the coffee layer ratio is in the range from 0.9 to 1.2.

EFFECT: increase in the weight of coffee for capsules of a larger volume for the possibility of preparing double beverages.
