FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to enamel compositions with an opalescence effect, which can be used in making jewellery from noble metals. The enamel contains the following components, wt %: SiO2 -38.29-39.00; PbO - 38.25-38.49; B2O3 - 3.44-4.36; K2O - 11.46-12.92; P2O5 - 1.70-3.58; SnO2 - 0.20-0.93; BaO - 1.83-2.07; ZnO - 1.50-2.10.
EFFECT: high coefficient of thermal expansion of the enamel, low flow temperature and replacing harmful As2O3 with safer P2O5.
