SUBSTANCE: invention refers to traumatology and orthopedics and may be applicable for the prevention and control of tissue inflammation around the supporting member of the external fixation apparatus. Channel for inserting the bearing element of the external fixation device – Kirschner wire – into the bone is preliminarily expanded in order to provide better outflow of the inflammatory exudate and the tube – the thin plastic catheter is inserted into it up to the maximum possible depth, which fixes the external fixation device onto the nearby element, the catheter is connected to the device that provides for the supply of the antiseptic solution to the channel.

EFFECT: method allows to avoid additional trauma, to avoid the decrease in the regenerative potential of the bone, to shorten the period of consolidation.
