FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for tubular bone elongation involves violation of bone integrity, intramedullary member fragments introduction into the intramedullary canal. An external fixator is installed. The intramedullary member is fixed to the proximal bone fragment by screws, and the proximal and distal bone fragments are fixed to the external fixator supports. Distraction is performed using an external fixator. The intramedullary member is fixed to the distal bone fragment with screws, as the distraction is completed. At that, the intramedullary member is fixed to the proximal and distal bone fragments with screws made of carbon composite material, and a rod made from the same carbon composite material that does not require medullary canal reaming during its introduction and surgical removal as the distraction is complete, is used as the intramedullary member.

EFFECT: method reduces trauma of tissue, forming bone regenerate.
