SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, energy and environmental protection. In the method plant samples are taken, the dry matter content of the leaves of the selected plant samples and the total leaf area are measured. At the same time, the production conditions of the light culture are fixed, including the average values of the microclimate parameters. During the growing period, the dynamics of changes in photon irradiation in the plant growing zone over time is recorded, the dynamics of the dose variation of the photon flux of optical radiation consumed by the plant during the growing period is determined. Dynamics of changes in the dry matter content accumulated in the leaves of the plant during the growing period are determined. Level of energy-ecologicality of the light culture under given production conditions is judged by the shape of the curve of the hodograph plotted in the coordinates of the increments of the mass of dry matter accumulated in the leaves of the plant and the dose of the photon flux of optical radiation consumed by the plant during the growing period. In this case, the smaller the degree of deviation of the hodograph curve from the reference curve, the higher the energy and ecological compatibility of the light culture.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine the energy-ecological compatibility of the light culture and ensures the convenience of measurements.
