FIELD: water purification technology.

SUBSTANCE: device for treatment of aqueous media in the waterway refers to the purification and decontamination of industrial and domestic wastewater, as well as surface water sources. Device for treatment of aqueous media in the waterway comprises a cylindrical body 1 with end walls 2 and water supply units for processing 3, ultraviolet treatment, ultrasonic treatment and tapping of treated water, ultraviolet treatment unit is disposed within the cylindrical body and consists of at least two ultraviolet radiators 5 provided with protective covers of a material transparent to ultraviolet radiation and arranged parallel to the generatrix of the cylindrical body, at least in one circumferential direction, ultrasonic treatment unit consists of at least two ultrasonic radiators 6. Inside body 1 there are at least two bending vibrations waveguides 7, made in the form of rods with length that is multiple half-wave length of ultrasound, rigidly fixed in end walls 2 of cylindrical body 1. Ultrasonic radiators 6 are installed on the outer side of cylindrical body 1, are acoustically insulated by hermetic attachment points 8 from body 1 and are equipped with submerged sonotrodes of longitudinal oscillations of cylindrical shape with length that is multiple half-wave length of ultrasound. Each bending vibrations waveguides 7 is connected to at least one sonotrode. Distances between ultraviolet radiators 5, ultrasonic radiators 6, ultraviolet 5 and ultrasonic 6 radiators are multiple half-wave lengths of ultrasound.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the degree of disinfection and purification of aqueous media from pathogenic microflora while reducing energy costs.
