FIELD: wastewater treatment devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for treating waste water from pathogenic microorganisms, undesirable impurities, pathogenic bacteria and can be used in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment systems. Device for ultrasonic treatment of waste water comprises a flow process volume in form of a cylinder, contaminated water supply branch pipe in the lower end wall of the volume, treated water outlet pipe in the upper part of the volume, emitter of ultrasonic oscillations is fixed on the upper end wall of the volume and is made in the form of a rod of variable cross-section, having maximum diameter in zones of maximum oscillations at resonant frequency of the piezoelectric transducer, channel for supply of ozone-containing gas is made along acoustic axis of emitter and has outlets on end and side surfaces of emitter, and outlets on side surface are made on sections of beginning of change of diameter of emitter.
EFFECT: high efficiency of treating waste water to standard values is ensured by increasing the intensity of ultrasonic action on the liquid medium and providing uniformity of action in all treatment zones is 10 times faster compared to the prototype.
