FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for treating a bulk material by accelerated electrons. Device includes an electron beam generator for generating accelerated electrons, with which bulk material particles are impingeable during free fall, wherein the electron beam generator is annular and has a first cathode and a first anode, between which by means of the first supplied electric voltage, which is provided by the first power supply device, a glow discharge plasma is generated in a vacuum chamber, and a second cathode and a second anode, between which a second electrical voltage is applied between the second power supply device, and the electrons, emitted by the annular second cathode and accelerated, exit an electron outlet window in the direction of the ring axis. In this case, the ring electron-beam generator is arranged in such a way, that the axis of its ring is oriented vertically or deviating from the vertical by an angle of up to 45°. There is also a device for isolating bulk material particles, disposed above the ring electron-beam generator, the bottom walls of which have an aperture from which bulk material particles fall out and from there fall through the ring formed by the electron-beam generator.
EFFECT: invention provides high throughput of the bulk material being treated, as well as compact overall dimensions of the device.
