FIELD: fire retardant materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic materials, such as wood or paper. Elastomeric body for vibration damping and/or a suspension is described, comprising a base body, and a fire-retarding coating that covers at least one section of the base body, herewith the flame-retarding coating comprises at least two intumescent fire retardant systems, which differ in, that the first flame retardant system contains expandable graphite, which has an expansion temperature from 160 to 250 °C, and which contains at least one first fraction with an average particle size of 180 to 500 mcm, even more preferably from 280 to 350 mcm, as well as at least one second fraction with an average particle size from 50 to 180 mcm, even more preferably from 50 to 120 mcm, and in particular from 70 to 90 mcm; the second flame retardant system contains polyurethane, it forms a supporting structure in expanded state, which fixes expanding graphite in expanded state at least partially. Method for producing an elastomeric body and using an elastomeric body is also described.
EFFECT: technical effect: new fire-retardant materials have been obtained.
