FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Method for producing a granular biocatalyst based on immobilized yeast cells is proposed. Method includes increasing a biomass of yeast Yarrowia lipolytica VKPM Y-3600, separating the biomass, lyophilic drying of the biomass, preparing a biomass suspension, by adding sodium phosphate buffer to the biomass, obtaining a polyacrylamide gel with immobilized biomass and adding dodecyl alcohol to the polyacrylamide gel with biomass to form granules with immobilized biomass. In order to obtain a polyacrylamide gel with immobilized biomass, the biomass suspension is being mixed with granular powder of polyacrylamide Superfloc® N-300.
EFFECT: invention provides an accelerated and simplified method for producing the biocatalyst.
