FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention provides for the supported catalysts, the method for its preparation, as well as the method for hydrotreating, hydrodeodization and/or hydrodesulfurization using the supported catalysts. Supported catalyst comprises the carrying agent, phosphorus, at least one Group VIB metal, at least one Group VIII metal and the polymer, where the polymer is present in the catalyst in the amount of about 1.5 WT% or more relative to the total weight of the other components in the catalyst. Molar ratio between the phosphorus and the VIB group metal is from about 1:1.5 up to less than about 1:12. Molar ratio between the Group VIB metal and the Group VIII metal is from about 1:1 up to about 5:1. Polymer has the carbon skeleton (the main chain) and contains the functional groups, which contain at least one heteroatom. Method for preparing the supported catalyst includes the following: I) combining the components together in any of the following combinations: a-i) the carrying agent, one or more monomeric components, the polar solvent and, optionally, the initiator, b-i) the carrying agent, one or more monomeric components, at least one phosphorus compound, at least one Group VIB metal compound and at least one Group VIII metal compound, and optionally the initiating agent, or c-i) the carrying agent and the impregnating solution that form the impregnated carrying agent, followed by mixing the impregnated carrying agent with one or more monomer components and optionally the initiating agent in order to obtain the monomer-containing mixture, where the mentioned monomer component dissolves in the polar solvent and contains the carbon-carbon unsaturated bond and at least one functional group that contains at least one heteroatom; and II) polymerization of at least the portion of the mentioned monomer component in the monomer-containing mixture in order to produce the polymerized product; III) when step I) does not involve the use of at least one phosphorus compound, at least one Group VIB metal compound and at least one Group VIII metal compound, any action from a-iia) contacting the impregnation solution and the monomer-containing mixture during polymerization in step II) or a-iib) contacting the polymerized product and the impregnating solution.

EFFECT: catalysts prepared in accordance with the invention show the high activity during hydrodesulfurization and hydrodezotization; in addition, in the polymer-modified catalysts, the hydrogenating metals are dispersed to a greater extent, than in similar catalysts that did not undergo polymer modification.
