SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding production and can be used for mechanized welding in the inert gas environment by direct and indirect arcs. Method includes igniting of direct arc between the non-consumable electrode and the article and igniting of indirect arc between the non-consumable and consumable electrodes. Consumable electrode is continuously fed into the direct arc during the process. At the same time, direct and indirect arcs are supplied from different power sources with periodic pulsation of the magnitude of unidirectional currents between low and high current, and while the current of direct arc is increased, the current of indirect arc is reduced, and while the current of direct action is reduced, the current of indirect arc is increased.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the stability of the welding process and thereby the quality of the welded joint.
