FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of welding production. Method includes igniting an arc of direct action between the non-consumable electrode and the article and igniting an arc of indirect action between two meltable electrodes that are continuously fed into the welding zone. In this case, the arc of indirect action is placed behind the arc of direct action with respect to the direction of its movement within the weld pool. Said arcs are supplied with periodic pulsation of the magnitude of the currents between the low and high currents, in the way that during the course of a large current of an arc of direct action, a small current flows in an arc of indirect action, and during a period of a small arc current of a direct action in an arc of indirect action, a large current flows.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides an increase in productivity and quality of welding.
