FIELD: monitoring systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for monitoring the state of electrical networks and communication networks. Method provides an analog-to-digital conversion of input signals, digital signal processing, in the course of which a set of classes of possible network states is preformed followed with forming a list of monitored parameters, making measurements of the controlled parameters on a certain interval, identifying the current network state with one of the classes, determining the optimal measurement frequency of the monitored parameters for the current network state, forming arrays with the results of parameters measurements (monitoring), memorizing the arrays with the results of parameters measurements (monitoring), transmitting the arrays with the results of parameters measurements (monitoring).
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of determining the optimum measurement frequency for the monitored parameters for the current state of the network.
