Content provision device that provides content as a mosaic channel (CH), a content provision device comprises: synthesizing unit configured to generate mosaic CH streaming data by synthesizing a plurality of streams having different subjects; mosaic CH segment stream generating unit configured to generate a mosaic CH segment stream by delimiting the generated mosaic CH streaming data according to a timing in common with another mosaic channel; a unicast delivering unit configured to unicast-deliver the mosaic CH segment stream; a multicast delivering unit configured to multicast-deliver the mosaic CH segment stream; a metafile generating unit configured to generate a metafile that is for a reception side to receive the mosaic CH segment stream that is unicast-delivered and multicast-delivered, wherein the metafile is an extended media presentation description (MPD) including a mosaic element.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the arsenal of technical means of content provision to a final consumer.
