SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for delivering video signals to a set top box (OTT-V), providing information on the required network quality. Content delivery device is provided that delivers content streams across many different networks in accordance with streaming technology, such as MPEG-DASH, and includes: generating unit that generates metadata describing Quality of Service (QoS) parameters for a corresponding plurality of different networks through which streams are delivered and QoS parameter condition values; and a delivery module that delivers the generated metadata to the receiver. Present disclosure may be applied to a system that performs content streaming.
EFFECT: provided ability to allow, when portions of content with the same content are supplied over multiple delivery paths, to provide the receiver with a portion of the general information about the required network quality of the corresponding delivery paths.
