FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To reduce postoperative astigmatism in the conduct of keratoplasty, the bed of the cornea of the recipient and donor transplant is formed. Implantation of the intrastromal ring or its two segments of the same length is performed diametrically opposite to each other. In this case, intrastromal ring or its segments are laid on the bed of the cornea of the recipient, and the cornea of the recipient and the donor transplant are formed with a femtosecond laser, either by laser ablation or mechanically. In this case, cut profile of the cornea of the recipient and the transplant is stepped with a diameter of the top cut being 1 mm larger than the diameter of the lower cut.
EFFECT: method allows to prevent postkeratoplastic astigmatism and improve postoperative stability due to the implantation of the intrastromal ring and the features of the corneal bed of the recipient and the donor transplant.
