FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To form a transplant bed using a low-energy femtosecond laser with wavelength of 1,060 nm, a corneal flap is cut out. Lamellar corneal cutting is performed concentrically to the limb at depth of 60 % of the thickness of the recipient's cornea at its thinnest point, with diameter of 6 to 9 mm, with simultaneous formation of two tunnels originating from base of formed bed, on 3 and 9 o'clock in zone with diameter from 5.5 to 7.5 mm, at angle of 45–65° in the direction of the corneal center, the width of each tunnel is 0.8–1.00 mm, and length is 50–150 mcm. After operation of femtosecond laser one of tunnels is opened by means of spatula and sterile air is introduced into it by means of 27G cannula for creation of air bubble and stratification of residual stroma and Descemet's membrane. Operation is completed as a standard anterior deep layer-by-layer keratoplasty with overlapping of the blanket suture.
EFFECT: method reduces the risk of the Descemet's membrane perforation, reduces the length of the surgical intervention and the length of the laser exposure.
