FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. The MyoRing ring is implanted using a femtosecond laser into a donor cornea fixed in an artificial anterior chamber, followed by the formation of a corneal graft using a femtosecond laser, which is used to perform deep anterior layered and penetrating keratoplasty. The MyoRing ring is implanted into the intrastromal pocket of the donor's cornea, formed at a depth of 80 - 90% of its minimum thickness, with a diameter of 0.5 - 2.0 mm less than the calculated diameter of the corneal graft, which, in turn, is formed with a diameter of 1.0 – 2.0 mm greater than the diameter of the recipient's cornea bed with a recipient eye length of up to 24.0 mm and a similar diameter with a recipient eye length of 24.0 mm or more.
EFFECT: method allows to safely and effectively minimize the degree of post-keratoplastic ametropia after penetrating and deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty.
