SUBSTANCE: invention describes a process for preparing urea grease. Process of producing urea grease includes one or more steps, in which the compounds of formula (I), (II) and (III):

where R¹ and R² selected from hydrocarbyls having from 1 to 30 carbon atoms, or R¹ and R² are linked and form a hydrocarbylene group containing from 1 to 30 carbon atoms, R³ is selected from hydrocarbyl comprising from 2 to 30 carbon atoms, and R⁴ is hydrocarbylene comprising from 2 to 30 carbon atoms; wherein at least one of the reaction steps is carried out in the presence of base oil.

EFFECT: described method of production is carried out in the presence of a base oil and eliminates the use of diisocyanate reagents.
