ELECTROMAGNETIC SWITCHING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering, low- voltage equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in design of contactors and starters. Electromagnetic switching device has frame, core with pull-in coil, armature installed in casing, shock absorbers placed between casing and surface of armature, units of contact cross-pieces linked to casing by means of common axle, mobile bridge contact units coming in the form of contact bridges with contact straps containing silver put on contact cross-pieces, block carrying immobile contact units in the form of contact clamps with upper and lower flanges and contact straps carrying silver arranged on upper flanges and return springs. Novelty of invention is that at least part of contact straps containing silver has bevel of contact area. Area of horizontal projection of it is 15% or under of total area of horizontal projection of contact strap and at least some of immobile contact units are fitted with arc-guiding clamp-shaped element which embraces each contact clamp and is made of two clamps and vertical member with two holes. Technical result provided by invention consists in design of switching device displaying higher mechanical and switching wear resistance that requires reduced usage of silver to ensure needed service life, of structural materials, labor input into manufacture of parts and units thanks to adaptability of structure to manufacture and provides for easy access to contact straps of mobile bridge and immobile contacts and coil of device when conducting maintenance during operation. EFFECT: increased mechanical and switching wear resistance and prolonged service life of electromagnetic switching device. 16 cl, 13 dwg
