FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to auxiliary power units of aircraft. System (3) for feeding air to auxiliary power unit (2) of an aircraft comprises channel (30) for feeding air to the auxiliary power unit; unit (4) for controlling the airflow fed to the auxiliary power unit; and valve (31) for the intake of air outside the aircraft, disposed at the inlet of feed channel (30). System further comprises circuit (32) for injecting air from the pressurized cabin into the auxiliary power unit feed channel. Air supply circuit (32) is connected to circuit (11) of air discharge to the outside of the aircraft through distribution valve (33). Valve is controlled by control unit (4) for extracting a portion of the air flow circulating in discharge circuit (11). Air supply circuit (32) at the outlet includes nozzle (34) for injecting said portion into feed channel (30) of auxiliary power unit (2).
EFFECT: invention facilitates the start-up of an auxiliary power unit at altitude.
