FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: emergency heat removal system includes a heat exchanger-heater and a heat exchanger-cooler connected to each other by a lifting and lowering branch, a reservoir with a water reserve connected by a pipeline with a descending branch. The system is additionally equipped with a reservoir for collecting non-condensable gases, which is connected to the descending branch between the heat exchanger-cooler and the reservoir with a water reserve. Between the reservoir with a water reserve and a reservoir for collecting non-condensable gases, a non-return valve is installed, and between the latter and the heat exchanger-cooler there is a controlled valve.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the system and the safety of the reactor installation in accidents with loss of coolant.
