FIELD: nuclear physics and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering. Emergency cooling system contains an autonomous ram-on steam generator, a water heat exchanger-after-cooler, steam and water branches, and a stop valve. System includes a water heat exchanger-condenser connected by a steam branch to a direct-flow steam generator, and a water branch with a water heat exchanger-after-cooler, as well as a jumper connecting the steam and water branches, with the reverse current prevention device installed on it, connecting the output of the autonomous ramjet steam generator with the input of the water heat exchanger-after-cooler, at that the shut-off valve is located at the inlet and outlet of the autonomous ramjet steam generator.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to ensure a steady heat dissipation at the late stages of the development of the emergency process up to the dampened state of the reactor installation and to maintain it in this state, as a result the reliability of the emergency cooling system and the reactor installation as a whole is increased.
