FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental protection, particularly to hydrotechnical structures designed for enclosing section of water surface in order to prevent spreading of oil and oil products. Floating guard boom of variable buoyancy includes a flexible tube mounted on a carrier element, provided on the outside at its entire length in its upper part by two rows of comb-shaped elastic elements, and in the lower part by a single row of such elements. Flexible pipe is looped and divided into separate sections. In each section there is a sealing piston made of elastic material completely overlapping the inside dimension of the section. One end of each section has a water mass communication, the other end is provided with a connection to which an air-vacuum pump is connected via a hose.
EFFECT: simplicity and reliability of construction, increasing the efficiency of work in conditions of oil offshore platforms is provided.
