FIELD: education.
SUBSTANCE: step-by-step execution of exercises with a given number of repetitions is performed. At the first stage, for 1-15 minutes, looking at the text on the computer screen, the learner sequentially fixes the look at the beginning and the end of each line. Simultaneously, the trajectory of the learner's sight is tracked through equipment that implements contactless optical sight recording and performs an automated check of the learner's view accuracy in the allowed areas in the beginning and the end of the lines and the simultaneity of the sight hits into the allowed areas with a periodic audiovisual signal being output. In case of erroneous eye movements, an audiovisual signal that is different from the said periodic audiovisual signal is automatically output. At the second stage, for 1-15 minutes, looking at the specified allowed area of text on the computer screen, the learner sequentially captures each line of the text. At that, attempts to divert the sight from the specified allowed area are recorded by means of the said equipment. With erroneous eye movements, an audiovisual signal is automatically output.
EFFECT: development of skills of non-regressive reading and reduction in the number of sight fixes, increased reading speed due to the step-by-step implementation of exercises with a given number of repetitions.
