FIELD: education.
SUBSTANCE: step by step exercises with a given number of repetitions is performed. At the first stage, for 1-15 minutes, looking at the allowed area of a given size in the center of the Schulte table on the computer screen, the trainee searches for the contour of the next table symbol. At that, eye movement from the permitted area is recorded by means of equipment implementing contactless optical sight registration. When the eyes are moved from the allowed area, all the symbols of the Schulte table are automatically removed from the screen or an audiovisual signal appears until the learner's view is directed to the allowed area. At the second stage, for 1-15 minutes, looking at the specified allowed vertical area of the text located on the computer screen, so that each next line of text is 1-10 characters longer than the previous one, and the text is formatted in the middle. The learner sequentially records each line of the text. At that, attempts to divert the sight from the specified vertical area are recorded by means of the said equipment. With erroneous eye movements, an audiovisual signal is automatically output.
EFFECT: development of peripheral vision skills, increased reading speed through peripheral vision training.
