FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power plants and can be used in the system for energy recovery of a polymerization plant for producing resins containing rubber. System comprises: exothermic reaction section operating in continuous mode (3), preferably having an increasing temperature profile within the range of 80°C-160°C; cooling section (2) is in fluid communication with said reaction section; discontinuous rubber dissolution section (4), said system is characterized in that it comprises accumulation device (1) for energy store produced by the reaction section, where the service fluid is at a temperature of not less than 80°C, said accumulation device (1) is in fluid communication with the discontinuous rubber dissolution section (4), with reaction section (3) and with cooling device (2) by using a service fluid. Invention also relates to a method for recovering energy.
EFFECT: technical result is increased plant energy efficiency by using heat released during reaction to heat the endothermic modules to temperatures below the reaction temperature.
