FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to power control means of microcontrollers. Method contains the stages, during which: determining whether the second microcontroller unit (MCU) is in a deep sleep state, when the first MCU initiates a data transmission communication event to the second MCU; and if the second MCU is in the deep sleep state, sending the interruption wake signal to the second MCU via the awakening pin output connected between the first MCU and the second MCU, to awaken the second MCU from the deep sleep state by triggering an external interrupt event, without waiting for an internal interrupt event in the second MCU in the deep sleep state.
EFFECT: technical result is in expanding the arsenal of technical means of awakening the MCU.
