FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making waveguides. In the process of induction heating, remote temperature measurement is performed on at least one of the points of the surface of a waveguide tube and at least one of the points of the waveguide flange using pyrometric sensors. Comparison is made of the current value of the temperature of the waveguide tube with its predetermined value, based on which a control signal for changing the voltage on the inductor is transmitted. Temperature difference between the pipe and the flange of the waveguide is calculated and the control signal is transmitted to an electromechanical drive, by means of which distance from the waveguide flange to the inductor is changed in order to change the heating power of the flange to equalize the temperature of the elements to be joined.

EFFECT: method enables to perform induction soldering according to a given law of temperature variation of the article, taking into account equalization of the temperature field of the joined elements.
