FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering. A rotary waveguide connection, consisting of two parallel sections of the waveguide, one of which is movable with the possibility of rotation relative to the other section and ensuring the transfer of microwave energy between the paths of these sections. The connection contains a corset, in which the mentioned segments of the waveguides are fixed, one of which is made fixed, consisting of a fixed frame in which steel cores are coaxially fixed, and the protruding part of the cores is a cone having a minimum rounding radius at the top, a movable bracket, on the shoulders of which sliding supports are coaxially fixed, which are ceramic cylindrical disks having a blind cone-shaped hole in the center of the round base, while the conical part of the cores enters the holes of the supports, allowing you to make turns relative to the frame.
EFFECT: invention increases the operating temperature range, increases the service life, reduces the moment of resistance to rotation, eliminates the negative impact of the use of lubricants in bearings on optical instruments and solar panels when used on spacecraft.
