SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method for cleaning the glass melting furnaces for glassware manufacturing. Method for cleaning glass melting furnaces (10) for glassware manufacturing, which are provided with the melting chamber (11), which has the melting bath (12), to which the regeneration chamber (13) is attached of the type, in which at least one regenerator (15) is provided, which comprises the supporting structure (16) for the layers of refractory bricks (17), which are arranged one above the other so as to form the passages (18a, 18b) for the downward cooled flue gases, which exit from mentioned melting chamber (11). Method includes sandblasting of the mentioned downward passages (18a, 18b) of flue gas and provision for insertion of the abrasive material supply pipe (22) through the openings (23, 23a) for external access to the regeneration chamber (13) and gradually into the mentioned downstream flue gas passages (18a, 18b), the sandblasting of mentioned downstream flue gas passages (18a, 18b) is being conducted during the operation of the glass melting furnace (10) without interrupting or reducing the production activity of the mentioned furnace (10).

EFFECT: technical result is the prevention of the need for operators that carry out maintenance of the plants in high temperature conditions, exclusion of damage to the structure of the regeneration chamber, cleaning of the regenerator without the need to change for this the operating conditions of the furnace.
