FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a shaft-reflective furnace for remelting aluminum scrap. Five gas injection 15-nozzle mixing burners are installed in the melting chamber of the furnace at the boundary of the melting chamber and the storage bath, one 15-nozzle mixing burner and two gas 15-nozzle mixing burners in the accumulation bath. The furnace is laid out in a steel box with thermal insulation between it and each wall. The hearths of the melting chamber and the accumulation bath are lined with hearth mullite-corundum blocks. The furnace has two swivel lined chutes. A quick-change tap-hole brick is installed in a metal box. The vaults of the melting chamber and the accumulative bath have a refractory heat-insulating coating and a heat-insulating mullite-silica felt laid on top of them. The furnace is equipped with an economizer and a dust and gas cleaning system, consisting of a mixing chamber, a smoke exhauster and a four-section dust and gas cleaning unit.
EFFECT: invention ensures high productivity of the furnace with a service life of 7.5 years before the first overhaul, reduces heat losses and emissions of harmful gases into the atmosphere, and also allows the use of unsorted scrap.
