FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, namely to perimetry. Alternately, the visual stimulus is presented to the patient at various points in the field of vision. When the patient perceives the visual stimulus, the fact of such perception is recorded. Motion sensor records the direction of movement of the pupil from the fixation point to the presented visual stimulus. In this case, the fixation point is one base point for the reference of the coordinates of all the presented stimuli, to which the sight is returned in order to control the fixation of the sight after each presentation of the next visual stimulus.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the reliability of the study, which is achieved due to the accuracy of the location of the presented stimulus and due to the reduction of the subjective component of the patient's reaction.
