FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology. Test visual stimuli are presented in different places in different points of the field of vision. In this case, each visual stimulus carries the semantic loading. When the stimulus is perceived and its semantic content is scanned, this point is used as a point of fixation of the patient's sight.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the reliability of determining the point of fixation of the patient's sight, which is achieved due to the scoring of the semantic content of the perceived stimulus, which allows to control the fixation of the patient’s sight.
