FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves concentrating patient sight on fixation point. Visual stimulus of variable brightness is shown to a patient in various vision field points. Each time after the patient has detected the visual stimulus, sight concentration point is selected as the point where the visual stimulus detected by the patient has been shown. The fact the visual stimulus has been detected by the patient is determined by checking eye-moving response. After having selected patient sight concentration point as the point the previous visual stimulus had been detected by the patient, showing visual stimulus in any next point on the vision field starts. Eye-moving response is recorded by using eye turn gage to fix the fact the visual stimulus has been detected by the patient. In recording the eye-moving response and selecting the next point the patient sight is to be concentrated, patient sight concentration point coordinate changes are determined and compared to the point the next visual stimulus is to be shown relative to the point the previous visual stimulus has been shown. EFFECT: wide range of observation angles; high quality of images produced. 4 cl, 1 dwg
