Abstract RU 2648248 C1

FIELD: power engineering; physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for converting the energy of an explosive into electromagnetic energy and may be used to study the properties of materials in cylindrical geometry with impact and quasi-isentropic loading by a liner driven by a strong magnetic field, while ensuring the safety of the load node. Transmission line is a coaxial outer and inner conductors with insulation between them, and in the cavity of the internal current conductor there is a device for protecting the liner load from the explosive action in the form of a conical cut-off, which ensures that the internal current lead is jammed with the outer conductor when the conical cut-off is moved under the action of the explosion products. Liner load and transmission line are connected by means of flanges, a pulsed current source and the liner load are mounted on the armored plate of the protective metal structure. Pulsed current source and the liner load are installed on the armored plate of the protective metal structure in such a way that the external current lead of the transmitting line of the pulsed current source directly rests against the armor plate, and the load flange abuts against the armored plate through at least one damping element.

EFFECT: technical result is the reduction of the impact on the liner load, the preservation of the liner load without disrupting its integrity and tightness, with the provision of localization of the test samples within the liner load.
