FIELD: ecology; agriculture; biology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biology, ecology, agriculture, especially to the study of biomaterials and registration of animals in the study of migration activity. A method for detecting a systemic rhodamine tag in small mammals includes the usage of feed lures with a rhodamine B preparation in an amount of 0.05 to 0.10 % by weight and detection of a fluorescent label of rhodamine B by irradiating small mammals with a portable green laser beam at a wavelength of 532 ± 20 nm. An orange color filter is used to record the fluorescence, and the presence of traces of the preparation of rhodamine B is detected by the effect of yellow or orange fluorescence during the observation in dark or twilight illumination.
EFFECT: invention allows quickly and efficiently carry out the detection of a rhodamine label in vivo or at the dissection of animals, and also it does not require a special training and a large material resources and time expenditure.
